In 1965, two English women, Wendy Blackmur and Valerie Coniber,
offered a home for life to severely handicapped children who were
abandoned
at birth or later as their
families were
unable to care for them. The Home of Loving Faithfulness (HOLF) in
Sheung Shui, Hong Kong has now expanded, and has 25 family members
from infancy to 50+ years. In 1998, the Home began taking
children who were not so severely handicapped, who are hopefully
placed with new families.
The Home of Loving Faithfulness is operated by a team of
long-term volunteers. They believe that the source of their provision
is supplied
by a generous Father, who meets all their needs in answer to faithful
prayer and service. The Home welcomes individuals with a love for
children and adults with disabilities.
