St Peters Church, Cooks River's registers reflect the social changes
of the area from the time of wealthy merchants, shell gatherers and

till it became a residential suburb of tradesmen, especially brickmakers.
Many notable families have been involved in our Church since
its first service was conducted on the 13th May 1838.
