At St Peters Church we teach the bible, provide guidance
and fellowship and send out and support missionaries.
We believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, that he
was crucified and died as a punishment for our sins, he himself
being blameless.
We believe that he became alive again and appeared to those who
had known him before his death before returning to heaven, where
he now
sits. Our beliefs are based on the Bible, which we believe to have
come directly from God through the medium of the various contributing
writers. It consists of two testaments, the old and new. The Old
Testament consists of scriptures written before Jesus came to live
among us. Many of these are common to Judaism. The New Testament
consists of scriptures written after Jesus earthly ministry.
Our ministerial team is made up of Pastor Shane Rogerson, Youth Minister
Angelo Porcu and three student ministers. Each member of the
team is committed to providing solid bible teachings.
We try to persuade men... for Christ's love compels us...
Those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who
died for them and was raised again. If anyone
is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has
come! God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ,
not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed
to us the message of reconciliation. We are Christ's
ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.
We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled with God. 2
