During school term, during the 10am service, following songs and prayer, children attend Sunday Lessons where they participate in activities which are fun and contain a biblical message.

Sunday Lessons aim to present Christianity in a way that children will enjoy and understand.

Most of our activities are creative so the children can take home their work as a reminder of the bible lesson they have been taught – it may be crossword puzzle in which the clues are taken from the better-known bible stories; or it might be a mobile that the child can hang in their room. Sometimes, more ambitious projects will take form over two or more consecutive Sundays and are often a team effort. The children regularly update the posters decorating our church hall with bible verses, pictures and timely messages (eg Easter).

The Christian theme is fundamental to the program. It's not meant to be just a way of entertaining the children while the adults are busy, although we do hope they find it fun and stimulating.
